Your booking reminders

When and how you receive reminders.

By Sagarnu Team

When you book an individual appointment, you may receive automatic WhatsApp messages — depending on the business's settings. If the WhatsApp send does not succeed and the business has turned on SMS for that message, the system tries to send it by SMS.

  • A confirmation with the business name, service, date and time. If the business chose to, it also includes the business address and phone number.
  • A reminder before your appointment, at the time the business set. If you book shortly before the appointment, a reminder may not be sent.

Not every booking gets these messages, and registering for a class or workshop sends no automatic messages at the moment.

What the reminder includes

  • Business name
  • Service name
  • Date and time
  • A link to your bookings page for that business, where you can cancel the appointment. A same-day reminder sent by SMS has no link — use the one in your confirmation. To change the time, contact the business.

If you did not receive a message

  1. 1Check that the phone number you entered during booking is correct and has WhatsApp active.
  2. 2Make sure you have not blocked the number the messages come from.
  3. 3Contact the business — they can check the appointment and the number they have for you.
💡

Messages are not sent from a number the business owns, so the sender may look unfamiliar — and if one arrives by SMS rather than WhatsApp, the sender is a short name rather than a number at all. What identifies the message is inside it: the business name is written in the text.
